(Alright, the first roleplay and it begins at Night!)
Jake and Maria walk the streets of Death City, they had just finished a mission and were headed in no real direction, they talked and seemed to be walking in the direction of the Ice Cream parlor.

Kid glanced over at Arenia again, watching the girl who was quietly curled up in an armchair in the corner, staring out the window with an idle expression. It had been a few days since he had taken her in after running into her on the streets, where she had been crying pitifully since her former meister had kicked her out, and she still had not settled in, which was about as much as he had expected, considering how long it had taken Liz and Patti.
Who still had not seen the girl considering they were off on vacation at the moment. Or something like that. He had not really heard what Liz had said as they were running out the door, considering he had been attempting to straighten the pictures they had set off-kilter shortly before leaving, and so had simply waved them off. Now he wished he knew what she had said, since there was a rather large difference between going out shopping, going on vacation, and finally being pushed over the edge and never coming back at all.
In order to distract himself from that thought and to get the girl out of the house at least for a little while, Kid stood and motioned for her to follow him. "Come on, we need to get out." Arenia had a stricken look in her green eyes for a moment, having misheard him and thinking he had said she needed to get out. Upon realizing that was not in fact what he had said Arenia shook her head at herself and followed the regal boy out of the room and manor, walking a half step behind him once they reached the street.
"Where are we going?" she asked finally. Kid paused for a moment, not having thought about that, and then turned on his heels and started going in completely the opposite direction.
"Let's get some ice cream," he suggested, Arenia having to trot to catch up with him for a moment.

A figure is watching Kid and Arenia from the shadows, not trying to be sneaky, but not trying to be noticed either.
Once the duo enter the parlor, they both get ice cream cones and sat down at a table, Maria talking about all sorts of nonsense and things that she heard, and Jake listened in silence, just happy to be with his friend.
(hm... where to throw her in... oh ill wait to see what happens next, heh)

"Come on Arenia," Kid said, reaching out and taking her hand in his, walking alongside her but still somehow managing to pull her along. She followed him complacently enough but there was a hesitation in her steps that he simply could not understand. He also distantly sensed someone following them, and was not sure who it was, but ignored it for the most part, not wanting to worry Arenia who was skittish enough as it was. "We will have to start looking for a new meister for you soon," he commented instead, looking down at her.
"Yes it would be nice to find another one," Arenia agreed as they entered the ice cream shop. The place was mostly empty except for a pair of people at a table, to which Kid nodded politely and Arenia waved slightly. Kid released her to go get ice cream and she stood there for a moment before slowly sitting down at a table, looking a little lost.

The figure came out of the shadows when nobody was looking. Vincent sighed and looked around, then with some hesitation, started to walk up to the ice cream shop.
Maria waved back and smiled, "Hello" she greeted them. Jake looked at the souls of the two who entered and nodded mostly to himself and kept eating his ice cream.

"Hey," Arenia said quietly, offering a gentle and nervous smile at the pair. She was not good with conversations and this was no exception. Needless to say she was quite relieved when Kid returned, pushing a small bowl of ice cream towards her.
"Hello there," he replied as well, picking up on the faint thread of conversation. "How are you two?" Arenia promptly busied herself with the ice cream though she barely picked at it, eating small bites at a time and considerably slowly at that.

Vince walked into the parlor and looked at the four who were near each other, thinking to himself. Then he decides to get himself some ice cream as to not seem suspicious.
"we are good, and you?" Maria as usual, enjoyed the conversation, even though it was only beginning. Jake would jump in if he felt the need, for now he felt no need.

Arenia glanced over at the newcomer to the room, not thinking anything of his entrance as she focused upon the pair they were currently talking to. It was an ice cream shop after all, people were bound to walk in and out while they were there.
"Pretty good, just trying to get out of the house for a bit," Kid replied, knowing Arenia was not going to carry on the conversation. Hopefully she'd loosen up a little bit as time wore on but for now she was being quite quiet. Which was why it surprised him when she spoke up.
"Do you two go to the academy?" she asked softly.
